Meet The Team
Proprietors
Proprietors Sharon & Gareth have been running Safe & Hound for over 10 years. and between us we have over 50 years of experience of animal welfare and have owned a whole array of animals including Horses, dogs and cats. At the moment we have a horse called Oliver who is now 28 and a Patterdale Terrier called Nobby who is 5. He loves agility which he does every Saturday and of course walking with all the other dogs. We also have a large number of fish that take a lot of looking after. We started the business in 2000 and it has grown from strength to strength and we are looking forward to the next 10 years.

Her passion of Agility having competed throughout the country as a junior handler, gained her fourth place in the UK. In her spare time, she loves nothing more than to be behind the lens of a camera, capturing those dogs in action, especially at agility, so we may start our own gallery on the website!
Nobby who has worked at Safe & hound all his life. "Its really hard work walking all these dogs and have them come and stay and sleep in my bed and share my treats but luckily the owners bring some lovely treats with them for us all to share too".
