They say never work with animals and children but these jobs can be the most rewarding in job satisfaction.

The ideal candidate to run a Safe and Hound franchise and it sounds pretty silly but you must love animals, walking, working outdoors but there is a lot more to it than that.

Running your own business is never easy and you will be surprised at how hard it can be, sure it's very rewarding and enjoyable but it is hard work and highly skilled yes dog walking is highly skilled. That's why when we look at a candidate we look for someone who is fit and healthy and able to plan ahead to look at the future and see how their business will grow and change.

You must be able to talk and get on with all sorts of people, fill forms in, keep accounts and be able to plan your day. Someone who will go the extra mile sometimes literary to provide a service that people will want to use time and time again and you can be proud of.

Not everyone can run this business but people from all walks of life and with totally different backgrounds and skills can succeed at this with a little help sometimes.

Its not all about making money it is away of life you will find that you make lots of new friends spend a lot of time out on your own with the dogs in all weathers but every time you go and pick up that dog for its walk its happy to see you, not many jobs give you that feeling everyday.
